Caoimgin joined LSPIM asset management team in January 2020, and has responsibility for adding value to property assets across a wide UK portfolio. A member of the RICS specialising in valuation, he has over eight years’ experience working in various sectors of the property industry.
Caoimgin started his career working for the Scottish Assessors Association. There he conducted the valuation of commercial and residential property for rating purposes, and was involved in two revaluations. Given his experience in rating and valuation, he was often called upon to represent the Scottish Assessors Association in appeal hearings. In 2016 he moved to a Scottish local authority where he was responsible for the asset and property management of its portfolio. While working there he deepened his knowledge of how to use asset and facilities management techniques to maximise the value of different types of property.
