Two new pre-lets signed up at Cupar Retail Park

The LSPIM development team has signed two new pre-let agreements with retailers at Cupar Retail Park, South Road, Cupar.

Bayne’s the Family Bakers has taken 1,000 sq ft and Nimbus Beds has taken 4,000 sq ft. They join B&M, Costa, Burger King and Indigo Sun, who have already signed pre-lets for the site.

In a further reflection of confidence in the local market B&M has extended its footprint to 25,770 sq ft with the addition of a garden centre.

The letting agreements leave only two units of 1,880 sq ft and 2,745 sq ft still available at the retail park, and these are currently being marketed by Savills and Culverwell.

Last September the development team at LSPIM secured planning consent to develop the derelict land at South Road into a retail park, and in February this year work commenced on site. The development phase is expected to be complete by the end of October, at which point the retailers will take possession in order to fit-out the units prior to opening.

This, combined with the adjacent Tesco store will ensure a broad retail provision, with excellent parking, that will attract consumers from a wide catchment area into the town.”
