PUBLIC RELATIONS/COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER
GLASGOW

JOB PURPOSE:

London and Scottish Property Investment Management have c£1bn of real estate  assets under management undertaking all property management functions in-house,  encompassing  the management of over 150 properties and  1,000 lettable units throughout the UK.  They are involved in Property Fund management including managing Regional REIT, the publicly listed investment company, co-investment in commercial properties throughout the UK, Commercial Development and Student Housing. They have grown from 12 people in 2012 to c. 65 people today and continue to see exciting growth opportunities to continue this journey.

The company is seeking a dynamic individual with experience to join the team based in our Glasgow office and establish a specific focus on marketing to assist in achieving the businesses growth ambitions.

Reporting to the Managing Director and Chief Executive, responsibility will be assumed for devising a PR and communications strategy, social media and website, creation of marketing material and internal and external events.

SENIOR ASSET MANAGEMENT SURVEYOR
GLASGOW

JOB PURPOSE:

London and Scottish Property Investment Management have over £720M of commercial  assets under management undertaking all property management functions in-house,  encompassing  the management of over 150 properties and  1,000 lettable units throughout the UK.

Reporting to the Head of Asset Management this is a key role in the business involving a combination of both Asset Manager duties and the management and development of subordinate Asset Managers and reporting on personnel and property performance.

As a senior member of the team, the role includes being involved in the development and implementation of policies and instilling corporate culture and work ethic to the wider team.

The individual will be responsible for the asset management of a wide ranging portfolio of commercial property assets, predominately office and industrial.

Functions to be undertaken will include identification of key events and issues, setting of property asset management plans and cash flows, monitoring and driving property performance to meet targets, instruction of and ongoing liaison with letting agents in terms of marketing of space, managing the refurbishment of assets to improve value, undertaking directly or supervising external agents in terms of lease renewals and rent reviews and other L & T work, instruction and liaison with solicitors on lettings, sales and documentation of other legal processes and working as part of the wider L&S teams.

At London & Scottish we are team orientated in our approach but expect our Asset Managers to operate with a high level of autonomy and self-reliance. We expect all our staff to provide a high quality, personable, professional service to our clients and their tenants.

PROPERTY MANAGEMENT SURVEYORS
BASED IN OUR GLASGOW OR LEEDS OFFICES

JOB PURPOSE:

After a period of rapid expansion over the last four years, London and Scottish Property presently has over £750M of commercial property assets under management carrying out all property management functions in-house. This currently involves management of over 150 properties encompassing over 1,200 lettable units.

We are currently looking to recruit Property Management Surveyors to join our teams based in Glasgow and Leeds. The individuals will be responsible for the property management of a wide-ranging portfolio of commercial property assets, predominately office and industrial, situated throughout the UK.

The Property Manager role encompasses:
• Property inspections.
• Ensuring tenant compliance with lease obligations.
• Co-ordination with the Accounts Team on rent, service charge and insurance demands and debt control.
• Setting and management of service charge budgets.
• Instruction and supervision of contractors and service providers.
• Review and process of tenant applications.
• Ensuring premises are compliant with all Health and Safety, Insurance, Fire Risk Assessment and all other statutory requirements.
• Manage transition events on any sale, purchase or new lease situation.
• Instructing and liaising with solicitors, agents and other consultants.
