Aviemore Retail Park is a new retail development providing over 50,000 sq ft of Class 1 retail warehouse accommodation over a range of unit sizes.

A vacant site in the centre of the village remained undeveloped despite having planning approval for a single retail outlet. Seeing potential to divide the site to accommodate three separate retail units, we submitted a planning application to the Cairngorms National Park Authority seeking an amendment to the previously permitted layout.

Planning permission for 44,550 square feet of Class 1 retail space was granted in December 2016. Construction commenced in January 2017 and work was completed at the end of the year. The completed scheme had 333 free parking spaces and Units 2 and 3 (16,550 and 17,000 sqft) were pre-let to anchor tenants Home Bargains and Aldi.

In February 2017, a planning application was submitted for a further small parade of four retail ͚pods of 1,500 sq ft each.
